How we handle your information.
This notice describes information collected through the Spice Insurance Services website and its online inquiry forms. It does not replace a separate privacy notice provided by your insurance carrier or another service provider.
Information you choose to share
When you contact us, request a quote, ask for a policy review or change, or request help with a claim, we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, this can include your name, email address, telephone number, business name, insurance needs, policy references, and the details of your request.
Our referral form collects the contact details you provide for yourself and the person you refer. Please share another person's information only with their permission.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment card details, medical records, or other sensitive documents through a general website form. Call us to discuss an appropriate way to provide information that is needed. These inquiry forms do not collect payment card payments.
Where a page offers public comments, a comment can include your name, email address, website address, and the message you enter. WordPress can also record an IP address and browser information. Your display name and comment may be visible to other visitors. Do not put private insurance or health information in a public comment.
What happens to a website inquiry
Website form submissions are saved in WordPress and sent by email to the website's configured notification recipient. Authorized website administrators and service providers supporting the website and its email delivery may have access to this information.
Submitting a form does not bind, change, or cancel insurance coverage. For urgent claim needs, contact your insurer directly.
Technical information and cookies
When you use the website, hosting and security services receive technical information about the request. This can include an IP address, browser information, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. This information supports website delivery, troubleshooting, and protection against misuse.
The website uses a security cookie to help distinguish visitors from automated traffic. WordPress also uses cookies for authorized sign-in and site administration. Comment forms may offer an option to save your contact details in browser cookies for a later comment. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect website functions.
How we use information
We use information provided through the website to receive and respond to inquiries, discuss insurance options, assist with service requests, and follow up on referrals. Technical information is used to operate, maintain, and protect the website.
Sharing information and outside websites
Information may be handled by personnel and service providers who help operate the website, deliver email, and assist with your request. An insurance inquiry may require relevant details to be shared with an insurer or another provider involved in that request. Information may also need to be disclosed to meet legal requirements or protect rights and security.
Links to outside services, such as Google Maps and review websites, take you to services operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices apply when you use those services.
Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts or avatar images from Gravatar. Those requests can share technical information, including an IP address and browser information, with the provider. Gravatar can also use an identifier based on a commenter's email address to select an avatar. Read Google Fonts' privacy information and Automattic's privacy policy for more about those services.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to provide optional information. Some contact details and request information are required for us to respond through a website form. You can also call or email instead.
Contact us to ask about information you have provided or to request a correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and consider recordkeeping or other applicable requirements before responding.
Retention and security
Website submissions and related correspondence are retained to handle requests and maintain records. The appropriate retention period depends on the information, its purpose, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us if you have a question about a particular record.
No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Limit the information you include in a general inquiry and contact us before sending sensitive documents.
Phone numbers and text messaging
If you provide a phone number and select an optional text-message consent checkbox, you agree to receive service-related text messages from Spice Insurance Services about your inquiry or account. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing insurance. Leaving the checkbox unchecked does not prevent you from submitting an inquiry.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also contact us at 904-257-1747 or kelleah@spiceinsuranceservices.com for assistance. This website consent is for service-related messages, not promotional text marketing.
Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are not shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers assisting with message delivery may process the information needed to provide that service.
Changes to this notice
